Set out as a twin-bedded room which looks out towards St. Michael’s Mount and has glorious views of Mounts Bay, it isn’t easy to believe that this was once the master bed-room where Colonel Field and his wife Sarah slept.

Take away the en suite with its basin, shower and w.c. and the room becomes that much larger, but far less convenient!

The views all around the bay are lovely and it’s good to relax around 7.00p.m. and wait for the R.M.S.`Scillonian’ in dazzling white appear around Tater Dhu bound for Penzance harbour and returning from her daily excursion to the Isles of Scilly.
