This is a twin-bedded room on the second floor, en suite with basin, shower and w.c. It has a sea view across the fields and down to the sea breaking on the Grebe rocks. The en suite has a step-up in it just so that you don’t need to risk standing on the seat of the w.c. to poke your camera out of the Velux window and capture the best view of the Mount ever – it’s worth the trek to the top floor. When a Victorian family’s house, this was the maids’ room and it’s not difficult to imagine the whispering that went on here when the house was abed and hopefully cook next-door was dropping off to sleep.
